Laminate flooring, generally referred to as solid wood composite flooring and laminate flooring, is a natural structure that has been artificially altered by the use of flooring materials to meet certain physical properties. It is a relatively common and popular type on the market. Flooring material. So, how do you buy the laminate flooring you bought? Or ask the construction staff to pay attention to what they need to install? Let’s take a closer look at the laying method of the composite floor today.

First, preliminary preparation

1. Clean up the construction site. The composite floor installation needs to be in full seamless contact with the ground. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the site before construction. If the fine sand on the ground is not cleaned, it will affect the effect and experience of the later laying;

2. Check the material quality. Determine whether the composite production date, specification, color number, flatness, integrity, etc. meet the standards, whether there is a factory certificate, whether there are cracks or scratches on the floor surface. If there is any problem, contact the manufacturer in time;

3. Leveling the ground. If the ground is not flat and the floor is not flat, the stepping on the top will cause the feeling of the foot due to the protrusion, and the foot feels poor. Therefore, if you want to find a way, the horizontal error should not be greater than 0.2 cm.

Second, the composite floor laying process

The laying of composite flooring is not too complicated, and it is generally carried out through three main processes: pre-laying, moisture-proof layer laying and floor laying.

1. Before laying, you can open all the laminate flooring, pick out some flawed floors, divide the saw according to the size, and pre-lay it. In this way, the floor can be laid out reasonably, and the second part can effectively utilize some of the problematic floor tiles to reduce the loss;

2. Reserve expansion joints. Considering that the floor has a certain expansion ratio, if the expansion joint is not reserved after the laying of the floor and the wall surface, there will be an empty drum phenomenon. The size of the reserved expansion joint can be referred to the parameters (expansion coefficient) when purchasing the floor;

3.Because the floor is to be laid out in a wrong way, it is necessary to pay attention to the length and length of the laying. A short side is paved with a long, cross-laying method to make the floor installation firmer, and the tool is used to tighten it;

4. Install the baseboard. The baseboard installation requires tight joints and can well press the wall seams;

5. Connect. You can choose a strip cover or a glass glue fill according to your personal preference. It should be noted that when making the joint, the floor should also maintain a gap of 8-10mm with the wall. It can be placed around the floor with small wooden blocks during installation to ensure sufficient gap between the floor and the wall. After attaching the upper and lower buckles, the crevices of the buckles are tightened, but this step on the top to see if there is any sound.
