The difference between SPC and WPC flooring:


SPC floor is a high-calcium non-foaming product, calcium carbonate is added at 250-300 parts, the relative density is 2-2.1, and WPC floor is a foamed product with a relative density of 0.85-0.9, and its filling is 80-100 parts. The specific gravity of SPC and WPC floors are different. SPC has high calcium specific gravity. The production process is simple and the specifications are reliable. WPC floor foam products have higher requirements for extrusion processing, and the shrinkage ratio is more difficult to manipulate, but its formula The cost-fee ratio is lighter.


SPC floor and WPC floor FAQ:


1. The product specifications are unstable, the shaped mold is not satisfied with the mold, and the wall thickness is uneven


Reason: The internal and external lubrication of the formula is unscientific, the quantitative analysis of the feeding speed ratio is unstable, the screw barrel of the extruder is seriously damaged, and the mutual cooperation gap is incorrect;


Solution: Improve the preparation of internal and external slip agents, adjust common faults in feeding, disassemble and replace the barrel and extruder screw, and adjust the gap between the barrel and extruder screw.


2. The appearance of the product has uneven color, significant color cast error, and irregular fish-scale patterns on the surface; poor product performance; poor ductility, product brittleness, and poor impact resistance;


Reason: the formula structure is unscientific, the inorganic filling is too high, the melting is not good, and the amount of tear-resistant raw materials is not enough;


Solution: Adjust the formula structure, moderately reduce the composition of inorganic fillers, adjust the melting of the raw materials to 65%, and consider improving the tear-resistant raw materials as appropriate.


3. The yield rate of finished products is bent, deformed, and partially sunken;


Reason: The machine head and the shaping die are not on the same plane, the extrusion speed is too fast, the cooling temperature is too high, the pressure is too small, the water output is not enough, the water vapor path is not smooth, and the negative pressure of the vacuum pump is not enough;


Solution: Correct the die orifice of the machine head and the fixed die in the same plane, reduce the extrusion rate & cooling temperature, increase the pressure and total flow, adjust the negative pressure of the vacuum pump to check the water channel and unobstructed air supply.
